For centuries, laurel wreaths symbolized success in battle and victory in the sports arena, eventually becoming synonymous with high achievement. From these storied beginnings came the age-old instruction against resting on laurels; celebrate previous success, but always do so with eyes towards growth and the future. In this centuries-old tradition, Laurel Ridge Stables opened its doors in 2021 as a full-service American Saddlebred training and show facility. At Laurel Ridge Stables, we customize a training program for each horse, utilizing innovative training techniques developed under the tutelage of the Saddlebred industry’s biggest names. In addition, our goal-oriented program incorporates a wide array of riding lesson and camp options designed to help riders of all levels develop and improve their skills. Coupling intentional training with exceptional instruction, Laurel Ridge offers an equestrian experience designed with your success and goals in mind. From tiny tots to seasoned veterans, we have a place for you!
Meet The Trainer
Hannah Deviney grew up riding and showing American Saddlebreds. She knew early on that her future was in training horses, and sought out educational opportunities from the industry’s best. Hannah played an integral role in multiple world and national title winning teams, honing her instructional skills and training techniques. After opening and operating a successful program in Lexington, Kentucky, she’s bringing her years of knowledge and experience to Laurel Ridge Stables in Rowlett, Texas,

Just 20 minutes east of downtown Dallas, Laurel Ridge makes its home at picturesque Lakeside Stables. Conveniently located next to Lake Ray Hubbard off of 130 and President George Bush Hwy, our facilities are easy to locate and represent the perfect backdrop for your equine experience.
